I've owned the Seisco RA-28 Tankless Electric Water Heater for over 8 years. I only use it half the year however. Until Feb. 2012, the heater operated flawlessly and was exactly what I hoped for. Since then, I've had a repeated problem with the circuit board, which required me to replace it 3 times. As a result, I've had a few opportunities to communicate with their president and customer support personnel.

Everyone I spoke with, from the receptionist to the technicians, especially Anthony and Sarah, was outstanding and tried to help any way possible. They were very patient, knowledgeable, and pleasant, and I can't praise them enough. And when my plumbers called them, they walked them through every step necessary to address any problems or installations.

I was particularly surprised at how easy it was to communicate with the president, David Seitz, who, on his website, invites customers to contact him if they need assistance. He told me the Seisco family...

This is the 2nd house and 2nd unit I've purchased as a whole house hot water heater. In both cases, I've removed two existing 40gal heaters, swapping out for single RA-22 and most recent install a RA-28 . In both cases both units have exceeded our expectations for on demand hot water. The RA-28 has been able to support our multiple hot water demands with cloths washer, teenage showers and dishwasher. My daughter and wife just love it (long forever hot showers). Additionally, our electric bill was reduced approximately $35 per month after the swap out.

Our only service issue has been with the current RA-28 unit(6years old) detected a leak and turned the power off to the unit. Unfortunately the few drops of water contacted the power control board and a temperature sensor, shorting them out.
