Chronomite SR-20L/120 HTR 120-Volt 20-Amp SR Series Instant-Flow Low Flow Tankless Water Heater

Chronomite was the first to patent a microprocessor technology which allows for a pre-set or controlled output temperature that delivers unlimited hot water without risk of scalding-in two seconds as opposed to the six seconds offered by other tankless water heaters. Chronomite is installed at point of use and is only operational when hot water is requested, thus dramatically reducing hot water delivery time and inefficient use of electricity.

I took this home with me to Jamaica here the ground water temperature is just right for this heater. It was every easy to install as I am using it for a shower.

The 120 volt 20-Amp Chronomite is inadaquate for just about any use.
I love the idea of a tankless water heater and had high hopes for this unit since I only have a 20-amp circuit at the desired location. Unfortunately that just does not appear to be enough power to produce a usable amount of hot water. I live in Florida and the input base water temperature is a relatively warm 68 degrees. Even so, I could only achieve a very fine stream of warm water. At any higher volume the temperature dropped to a useless level.

If I had a 240v circuit then I believe the higher end unit would be great, unfortunately, this rules the 20-amp unit out for most existing locations. Hint, if you're doing new construction or a remodel, wire for 240v.

20 amp electric water hearter
A good unit and good price. It was a little less power than what I wanted, but I'm going to keep it
