Tank no more! Loving this tankless heater
We bought this device to replace a 14 yr old nasty tank that was calcified and giving my skin a nasty itch.
I mounted this on studs directly under my existing vent for my previous gas tank heater.
I couldn't be happier with this products size and efficiency PLUS you get an awesome LCD screen with a digital temperature.
I cannot comment on my utility savings yet, but I know it should go down significantly.
Great customer service! They sent me a personalized detailed description to my question along with an image.

Make sure that you have at least 3-5gpm flow or else this thing will be tough to dial in.
Our home has a very low 2gpm and this thing runs super hot, we have to have it on the lowest heat setting to work properly.
Also make sure to grab 3/4 to 1/2 adapters from you local hardware store for the cold and hot water connections.
You'll also need to buy a connector for the gas as the default 1/2 one doesn't work with flex pipes.

Great Pool Shower
We bought this unit last year to use as a pool shower. My family (myself, wife, daughter) used it every day all season long May to September. My girls take long hot showers and it worked great for us. This year I've made things a bit nicer with new shower head and extension but we are already using the shower in late March.

Over the winter I disconnected everything and left it hanging on our inner deck wall under a covered porch. It wintered fine with many days less than 20 degrees and fired back up this season in just a few minutes to re-connect the hoses.

Follow the directions and it works like a charm
OK - first off I bought this unit because of the simple electronic start (with just 2 size D batteries). Also the attractive price. I read all the reviews and REGISTERED the warranty the day after I got it.
I read the instructions, then re-read them and watched the installation video a couple of times.
The biggest setback was the 4" vent pipe that was needed. My old water heater had a 3" vent pipe.
I hooked up the water and gas lines myself and had help with the vent pipe because of the sheer awkwardness of it. I vented mine through the roof.
The 1/2" gas line just wouldn't twist onto the gas orifice on the water heater, don't know why but the gas line female end was too small. I got a female / female connector at the hardware store and it worked just fine.
It took a couple of days to dial in the right settings for my needs. I AM SO GLAD I GOT THE DIGITAL PANEL model. Took a lot of the guess work out of the temperature and only costs a little...
