Customers say's :
Energy efficient, quiet, and easy to install (if your handy)
When we replaced our old on demand water heater/boiler combination we decided to use two separate units instead. Since we only used the boiler for in floor heating part of the year, this reduces the wear on the expensive boiler and the Noritz is quieter and cheaper to operate the rest of the time. It has easily kept up with our needs but we are well within the 8 gallon per minutes this unit generates. Takes two holes through the exterior wall or a special part that allows the use of a single hole. It does require a place to drain the condensate. Including cutting out old piping, etc., our plumber did the whole install in under 5 hours. Very happy with it so far (3 months).

I get a different Noritz certified plumber out, he charges $185 to show up and diagnose the problem. Plumber number 2 checks everything out and charges an additional $160 to troubleshoot with Noritz on the phone because there is a problem with the unit. They decide there is a bad circut board in the...
