Great Heater
Had this installed by a plumber on new construction. He knew the Rinnai brand and was also impressed that it came with clean out/service valves that most heaters don't include. We have a 2000sf home with a family of three and this is all the heater we need.

An excellent product
I purchased my 1st Rinnai in 2004. It needed repairs that exceeded the amount that I wanted to spend on a 10 year old heater, so I decided to buy another one. The RL94eP is by far superior to the older machines they were making.
The only "CON" would be the plumbing does not line up completely with the older units.

Well Worth the $ffort
I had been wanting a Rinnai ever since I first saw them on "This Old House" more than 15 years ago. When I decided to move a few appliances around my laundry room, the first thing on my list was to replace my standard propane gas water heater with a Rinnai. It is probably the smartest purchase I have made since buying my current house. Especially in households where there are only one or two people, this HWH can literally save hundreds of dollars a year. Now instead of wasting $$ on a HWH that runs day and night, it only turns on when I need hot water. My propane bill has dropped dramatically since installation! My only (very small) complaint is that it can take more than a minute or two for the hot water to reach the destination spigot but that is a tiny inconvenience to pay for the great amount of money saved. My Rinnai will probably have paid for itself in less than three years. If and when I purchase another house, the one purchase I will make before moving in is another...
