Good quality lines and easy to use
Worked perfectly! It arrived today and I was eager to give it a try. I turned the circuit breakers off to the tankless. Turned the water off to the tankless using the valve. Closed the valve that allows the water to run to the faucets in the house. Added 2 gallons of vinegar to the bucket, put the pump in the bucket, and then hooked up the lines to the cleaning valves. Plugged it in and let it run for @ 45 minutes. The water turned blue (see picture).

We have had our tankless water heater since 2008 and this was the first cleaning. This cleaning was so easy I will definitely do it annually from this point forward.

The directions that came with the kit said to use 2 gallons of vinegar. It was a little stinky - but worked great. Wish the specs on Amazon had said to use vinegar so I wouldn't have purchased the cleaning solution from another site.

Works great. DON'T buy it.
The items worked perfectly and the kit came with good instructions for flushing our tankless water heater.

That said, this kit is incredibly over-priced, since you can buy a submersible pump on Amazon for under $50, a pair of female-to-female hoses for $14 (search "clothes washer hoses"), which means they are charging $86 for the bucket and instructions? That's crazy.

I was desperate, new to this topic and I didn't have time to research or get to a hardware store (crazy work week). I knew it was outrageous but I paid it because our hot water system was clogged.

Don't make my mistake. Put the pieces together yourself on Amazon (or better yet, your local hardware store), get instructions on how to flush the system from your manufacturer and save $80.

Did the job well
Product arrived on time and as described. We were able to hook the pump up to our tankless heater and do the whole flushing operation in about an hour or so. After also taking a few minutes to clean the scale flakes out of the various faucets in our house, our hot water ran much more quickly and efficiently.
