Love it!!!
We live in a small trailer, and this is just the thing for us. Before we had a water heater that only held 15 Gallons. That makes for 1 load of dishes, or one 10 minute hot shower. You can imagine my delight to have endless hot water. The only downfall we found is that we had to replace the breaker to the trailer because if we ran anything with the tankless, it would flip the breaker because our previous one was too small. But no big deal, and we're still lovin it!!!!!

Great Product / Distributer
This is the 2nd Stiebel tankless hot water heater I have purchased. The first was for my home and the 2nd for my carriage house. Before buying Stiebel hot water heaters, I purchased a different brand -- AND had a terrible experience. Stiebel is definitely the way to go if you need an electric tankless hot water heater.

And I've had no problems with the Distributor. During the 1st purchase, the sales person on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The second purchase was facilitated online and delivered on time...

Use caution in selecting - electrical load can be limiting
The Stiebel Eltron line is excellent and will give great service. Mine does. But a thing to look out for is the significant electrical load and the specific wiring requirements of these units. It should be obvious that this kind of heater will need a LOT of current to heat water at such good flow rates. What may not be obvious is the means to supply that much current. To use the unit I purchased, the Tempra 20B, as an example, we see that it's rated at approx 19kW @220V. That may not mean much to a novice but it's 80+ amps of current! Such a unit will not work with a house service of less than 150A and that's marginal. If you have a 200A service or more that may sound like you are good to go. Hold on - there's more - you will need not ONE connection but TWO independent electrical feeds to these units. That means DOUBLE the breakers, conduit, wire, and installation costs. For this unit TWO double pole 50A breakers are required so make sure that you have the physical space in...
