Customers say's :Great water heater!
I installed this model just over a year ago, and it's been working flawlessly. The unit starts to heat with the slightest flow of water, and it heats very quickly. It also helps that I have a short pipe run between the water heater and my kitchen and bathroom. It provides hot water to the washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen and bathroom sinks, and the tub/shower; not all at the same time, but certainly at least two at a time.
I selected this model due to the brand reputation, positive reviews, long warranty, auto-ignition, and the freeze protection. Installation wasn't too difficult, apart from the need to reroute water and gas lines. I installed mine in a Rheem recess box between studs on an outside wall. This conceals the piping and gives a more finished look. I also used the available valve kit, which I highly recommend.
This model is for outdoor installation only; it uses no venting, as it has a power exhaust. I can hear the heater from my shower;...
great product and great price
I bought this for over $300 chaper than the local big box store - exact same product - and with Prime they shipped to Hawaii for free.
The setup was easy and it works great - we are a family of 3 and we use about $30 a month in propane ($6/gallon in Hawaii) versus over $100 when we had an electric hot water heater - this will pay for itself in less than year - and no matter how long your shower you never run out of hot water!!

Better than Home Depot
I saw this item in Home Depot amd almost bought it. Went home and found it new, with full warranty, on Amazon for nearly $500 less. I removed an old broken Paloma from the house. Another trip to town for parts and 2 hours later I had hot water. The installation was simple and the instructions made sense.
There are other solutions out there for about half the money. I wouldn't do it. The engineering and fabrication of this unit is first class. It is not a toy. The remote digital control allows me to power it up without going outside and gives precise temperature control. Even though it was spendy, I strongly recommend this water heater.
