These things are really awesome!

We've got both models. We've had the L5 for a couple years, and just bought the L10. They're both terrific, but for an extra $100, go with the L10. They work with minimal pressure and you can get a scalding shower if you turn the flow down and the heat up.

The only problem with them is that they blow out EVERY time the wind blows, so it's got to be pretty calm in order to get a really good shower. I built a 4x8 shower enclosure on our property in the middle of the forest and there aren't many things better than taking a long hot shower in the middle of nowhere while you're camping!

Outdoor Use Only - Can Be Rigged for Indoor Use (with unit outside)
When converting our home from oil to gas service our area experienced a weather crisis. The conversion was halted due to more pressing local emergencies. Unfortunately this created a state of crisis within our home. We were left without any heat or hot water for over two months in the late fall early winter (an early snow season in my area).

Just to be clear THIS UNIT IS FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY and CANNOT BE USED INDOORS! We were able to utilize it indoors though, by running two long garden hoses from our faucet (with an adaptor to accept garden hoses), out of a window to the unit. The other hose ran from the unit to the shower hose (with an adaptor to connect 1/2" shower hose to 1" garden hose).

Someone stated that the hose connections leak due to the threading, this was not true in my case. Be sure to use the gaskets that were provided! If you are rigging this for emergency use (as an indoor shower supplied with heat from the unit outside), be prepared to...

We are steamy

We found this on Amazon read the reviews and went for it as the hot water source for our outdoor shower, which is our only shower. It was easy to set up, and works great. We have been using it for three months and it has used such a small amount of propane. The water is hot enough to shower in when its a cold night. The flow and pressure is good but it is not the same as indoor showers I have used, though it does the job and with no problem I can was my long hair and get the shampoo and conditioner rinsed out with ease.
