Customers say's :Good electric tankless for the money
I bought this unit for my radiant heat floor. Like any other electric boiler for a radiant heat floor, it uses a lot of energy but it gets the job done with ease.
Ecosmart 27kW Tankless water heater
I purchased and installed this produce to replace my aging gas water heater.
I am pleased with its operation and simplicity of use. It is as advertised and I hope that also holds for their estimates for energy savings. I will monitor my consumption to see if it is saving me energy cost.
The main thing learned from a couple of months of use is that when providing water for filling the tub the flow is to high for the water heater to supply. The tub faucet flow rate is about three times what any other faucet or shower head and is quite a bit over the GPM rating of the unit. There is a relatively easy workaround and that is to turn the fill rate for the tub down to a rate within the units capability. This means the tub filling is a slower process than before but a small inconvenience. We do not use the tub as often as the showers and have gotten use to it.
So far I really like the unit.
